Digital Primary Sources & Text Mining

In this workshop, participants will get an introduction to the ethical and legal concerns in compiling and analyzing large collections of unstructured text data. The workshop will then demonstrate web-based tools for beginners to explore text analysis methods in the humanities. A brief overview of popular text analysis methods is included. No experience is required.
