Please join us for the opening reception for the Dear Body of Water exhibitions on the 4th and 5th floors of Lauinger Library which incorporate artwork by Georgetown students and materials from the Booth Family Center for Special Collections. The works collectively address bodies of water as living beings to highlight the love and respect we have for our waterways, and to cultivate care for watersheds.

Schedule of events:
4:00-4:30 pm. Gather at the Community Gallery on the 4th Floor of Lauinger Library for an introduction from writer and Dear Body of Water founder, Gretchen Henderson, poetry readings by Georgetown students, and remarks from our student curators.

4:30-5:00 pm. Enjoy refreshments and hear about the exhibitions highlighting materials from the Booth Family Center for Special Collections (5th floor of Lauinger Library).

Refreshments will be served!
Please RSVP for the reception and invite your friends, family, and faculty to join us!
