The Marino Family International Writers’ Workshop Endowed Fund was established in 2008 by Frederick Marino (SLL ’68). An established Georgetown tradition, the workshop introduces incoming undergraduate students to the life of the mind. Each year, the students read a recent novel, hear from the author of the chosen novel, and then discuss the themes and messages of the book in small groups led by more than eighty faculty and staff mentors. Please see the Workshop home page for complete information about this year's and previous workshops.
