The Louis E. Seibold Book Endowment Fund was established in 1976 by the custom house broker and freight forwarder John S. Connor Inc. as a memorial to Louis E. Seibold.
Louis Seibold was head of the oldest custom house brokerage and freight forwarding firm in Washington until it was sold out to John S. Connor Inc. in 1972.
The fund is used to purchase materials on foreign trade.
