Do you have an idea for a video project and need a camera—plus a tripod, lighting gear, and microphones to get a professional result? Maybe you’re planning an event and you need a PA system for announcements. Or you need a Chromebook to quickly check something online.

You can borrow equipment from the Library for all of these situations and many more.

Borrowing equipment is easy. Find and reserve the equipment you need in HoyaSearch, or if you prefer a more visual search, find equipment on the Library webpage in the “Services” menu by selecting “Equipment.”

We have still and video cameras, audio devices, computers, and gaming and virtual reality equipment to help you execute any kind of multimedia project. Plus, we’ve got the accessories—cables, batteries, flash drives, card readers, and more—that are easy to overlook but can mean the difference between triumph and disaster.

Equipment must be reserved at least one day in advance. The standard checkout period is 72 hours, but most items can be renewed if available. See more information about checking out equipment, and our full equipment checkout policies.
