About “Em”
“Em” follows two children of the Vietnamese diaspora separated from their home after the Fall of Saigon as they reckon with unspeakable trauma and find family through the sacrifices of others. Thúy recently delivered a lecture on the novel to first-year students at this year’s Marino Family International Writers' Academic Workshop.
