Lattes & Lit to Discuss “100 Years of Solitude” in January

Cover for "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez.

Need a good book over the break? Delve into a classic piece of Latin American literature and a masterpiece of magical realism, One Hundred Years of Solitude, and you’ll be ready to discuss the novel with Lattes and Lit Book Club in late January!

Our January Book

Written by Colombia’s celebrated Nobel laureate, Gabriel García Márquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude weaves a multigenerational saga of the Buendía family in the mythical town of Macondo. It explores themes of love, power, solitude, and the cyclical nature of history. Renowned for its lyrical prose and fantastical elements seamlessly blended with reality, it remains a timeless tale of human existence.

After you read the novel, enjoy binge-watching the newly released adaptation of One Hundred Years of Solitude on Netflix and join the Lattes & Lit book club during the last week of January to discuss both the book and the show.

Help us find a time for the discussion by filling out this RSVP form and poll.

We’re looking forward to a great discussion!
