Georgetown undergraduate researchers from across campus gathered in the Gelardin Center on Lauinger Library’s first floor to present their projects to their peers, advisors, and library staff on Friday, January 31. Faculty directors of undergraduate research in schools, departments, and centers across Georgetown University nominated this elite group of students to present their research.

One by one, student researchers gave two-minute flash talks next to posters describing their work, which included meaningful investigations of corporate hiring practices, climate change’s relationship to global conflict, and medical care for terminal neurological conditions.

You can find the twenty student posters from the physical exhibition and an additional ten projects, alongside a summary of their work, on the exhibition page. The academic posters will remain on display in the Gelardin Center through March 31, 2025.

Partners in the exhibition and reception included the Center for Research & Fellowship, the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching & Service, the Massive Data Institute, the Royden B. Davis Fellowship Program, the Georgetown Writing Center, the Chemistry Department, Georgetown Library’s Research Services and Digital Scholarship, and the Booth Family Center for Special Collections.
