What do you do—in one sentence: I process requests from other libraries to borrow items in Georgetown's collection.

Where are you from? California, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area.

Why Georgetown/D.C.? I came to Georgetown as an undergrad and wanted to stay in DC after graduating. I feel very fortunate to return to Lauinger after being a student assistant and using interlibrary loan myself when I was student.

What are some of your hobbies? I love to crochet, watch movies, and play ultimate frisbee.

Favorite book? Currently tied for the top spot are Life After Life by Kate Atkinson and We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry.

What are you listening to right now? Today, I listened to a lot of Blondie and Sara Bareilles, but by the time this is published, I probably will have moved on to something completely different.

If you could be present for any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be? Any Cranberries concert. I would love to see them live once!

What's your superpower/hidden talent? I know how to make kettle corn at home. It's not very impressive once you know how it's done, but prior to learning, I thought I could only buy it! It's been a game changer for me and my sweet tooth.

What material thing could you not live without? My overalls—so comfortable and so many pockets.

If you didn’t work in your current field, what would you be doing? I studied linguistics and education at Georgetown, so maybe something related to language education or literacy development.

You are building your dream house. What is one room or feature you would want to include? A pot-filler for over the stove!
