Food is ONLY permitted on the second floor of Lauinger Library, and it is preferred that food is restricted to “snack” style foods.
Uncovered beverages are prohibited in the library.
Beverages in covered containers are permitted in most areas of Lauinger and Blommer libraries.
Cooking, preparing or heating food is not permitted outside of the Midnight Mug on the second floor.
Alcohol is prohibited in the library.
Individuals who fail to comply with this policy may face disciplinary action. Visitors may be asked to leave the library and may be barred from the campus.
