I used acrylic pieces and the laser cutter to etch an original drawing onto multiple different pieces to create a 3D effect. I then used the laser cutter to create a wooden stand to present the acrylic pieces. I used both my own and maker hub resources.
I was inspired by two of my classes this semester, ARTH: Exiles and Diasporas & FMST: Climate Cinema, to engage with ideas of locality, afrofuturism, climate solutions, and an eventual isolation in space.
