Minority Report with Salomón Flamenco

'Minority Report' is a podcast I created for a class using resources in the library, especially the recording rooms and the studio space. Minority Report is a podcast that covers a wide range of topics encompassing the diasporic experience and the complexities that come along with migration. During the show, I navigate various diasporas while centering discussions of decolonization, individual growth and development, and what it means to be Asian, Black, Latin, and Middle Eastern/North African in the United States today. I learned how to properly utilize audio equipment, conduct interviews, and use editing software during the process. More importantly, in talking to people from various cultures, I’ve gained a deeper insight into what it means to be a global citizen.
