Sarah DavidsonCo-ChairSarah is currently one of the co-chairs on the Student Library Council Board. She is from New Jersey and expects to graduate in May 2026 with a BA in English and two minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. She first joined the SLC in the spring of her sophomore year, mainly because she likes libraries so much that she hopes to work in one after graduating, so she’s eager to learn by assisting at Lauinger as much as possible. (She’s already enjoyed helping to lead tours of the library for prospective Georgetown students!) Her favorite thing about the library is the incredible number of resources it provides for free—it’s hard to walk a few feet in Lau without having something incredibly useful within view! - Image
Catherine ZehnerCommunications ChairCatherine is the Communications Chair for the SLC. She is a sophomore in the SFS studying International Politics. Catherine is from Philadelphia where she works in an independent bookstore. She joined SLC because she grew up loving her local public libraries. You can find her on Lau 3, by the big windows. - Image

Reeba AtifCorresponding SecretaryHi, I’m Reeba, a first-year English MA student (’27) from Brooklyn, New York. I joined SLC as the corresponding secretary because bridging gaps between the library and students is important. My favorite library feature is Interlibrary Loan for its amazing research access, and I use it all the time! I also serve as GradGov’s deputy chief of staff, where I help support student initiatives and work to strengthen access to community connections. - Image
Basia PankoMembership SecretaryBasia is a freshman in the SFS planning to major in International Economics, and she’s originally from New York City. She serves as the Membership Secretary on the Student Library Council. She joined because she values libraries as open, inclusive spaces that make knowledge more widely accessible. Her favorite place to work is the second floor of Lau since its bright, collaborative space make studying feel less solitary. She also enjoys exploring the quieter, more hidden corners of the Georgetown library system, including Riggs and the Bioethics Library. One of her favorite features of the libraries is the team of subject-specialist librarians because they are both incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Outside the SLC, Basia enjoys audiobooks and writing for The Georgetown Voice. - Image

Quincy NollyGraduate Student AdvisorI am in my second year of the Executive MBA program within the McDonough School of Business, graduating in May 2026. My hometown is Midland, Texas and I am serving on the board of the Student Library Council as one of the Graduate Student Advisors. My decision to be on the board is to promote and be an advocate for the library to the business students at Georgetown, specifically those in the graduate programs. At Georgetown, I am also a member of the Black MBA Association, the Georgetown Wine Society, and the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club. - Image
Jac RusherGraduate Student AdvisorJac Rusher is a first year English master's student. Expected to graduate in 2027, they have an interest in literature and philosophy in the Victorian period. Jac grew up in San Diego, California, but spent that last four years in Northern California getting their BA in English at UC Davis. As an English major, all they do is spend time at the library and can be found losing their mind in a private study room or roaming the stacks. Jac believes that the library is an extremely valuable resource for all students and wants to raise awareness for all the fun stuff the library has to offer! Their favorite feature in the Georgetown library system is simple but invaluable: interlibrary loan.
