The Lower Level of the Library is getting a renovation, which means you might hear some intermittent construction sounds in these spaces. If you're recording something, and are worried about background noise, we recommend booking after 1pm when the construction crew leaves for the day.

There are six reservable digital media studios, each equipped with specialized equipment for creating, editing, consuming, and reformatting media.

Digitization Studio: digitize print materials and legacy media
Media Editing Studio 1: edit audio, video and image files
Media Editing Studio 2: edit audio, video and image files
Podcasting Studio: record and edit podcasts
Video Gaming and VR Studio: game and experience VR
Production Studio: shoot videos and photography
How do you reserve?
To get a key to any of the studios you’ll need to make a reservation and then head to the circulation desk to check out a key during your reservation time. Reservations for each studio can be made by clicking the above links. Studios can be reserved for up to 3 hours per day. If there is a prior reservation on the calendar, please schedule your reservation at least 30 minutes after the prior reservation ends to allow for the system-required buffer between bookings.
