The Idea Lab is designed to facilitate communication and ideation. It's equipped with whiteboard tables and other supplies to help groups come together to discuss problems and sketch potential solutions.
What's Here
- 2 large screens
- 1 Zoom Room computer that enables wireless screen sharing and Zoom meeting connectivity with your personal device
- Movable whiteboard tables (2’x6’) and rolling whiteboard easels
- Dry erase pens
What you can do
- Teach or attend workshops, classes, and meetings
- Use the whiteboard tables and boards to collaboratively sketch out ideas
This room can be reserved for
Individual class sessions, or full courses that will take advantage of the unique attributes of the Idea Lab and/or the Maker Hub.
Rules for use of the Idea Lab
Users of the Idea Lab must follow all the Policies for Instructional Spaces.
Reservations
To request use of the Idea Lab please email us at digitalscholarship@georgetown.edu with your requested date/time, the number of people in your group, and your reason for specifically requesting the Idea Lab. Requests must be made at least 1 week prior to the reservation time.
