Religion, Authority, and the State

This collection of essays are a selection of lectures that were given at 7th Ecclesiological Investigations International Conference in Belgrade. The title of the book bears the name and theme of EI's conference. Among the founders of  the Ecclesiological Investigations International Research Network is Gerard Mannion, the Joseph and Winifred Amaturo Chair in Catholic Studies in the Theology Department here at Georgetown. His essay entitled, "Religion and the Rising: Patrick Pearse and Easter 1916," is also featured in this collection.
