Michelle Wang, Associate Professor in the Department of Art & Art History, participated in the Digital Research and Innovation (DRI) at Georgetown Projects and collaborated with Digital Scholarship and Technology Services and the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship to create the Digital Index of Dunhuang Art, an interactive visualization of a Buddhist site in northwestern China that tracks activity (new excavations, renovations, iconographic motifs, etc.) during certain historical periods.
