Hand-Bound Journals

Over spring break my junior year, I had the chance to take a three-hour bookbinding class with one of the last bookbinders still stationed in Venice. Upon returning to campus, I felt super motivated to learn more about traditional bookbinding techniques, which is when I started visiting the Maker Hub! Their print shop was an awesome place to get started exploring the craft. I've since tried a number of different methods, including open-spine Coptic stitching, cross-stitching, softcover, and hardcover variations.
