The OSEI tactile map project, a collaborative effort between the Maker Hub and Disability Cultural Center, aims to provide blind and low vision individuals with a tangible tool for navigating the new Office of Student Equity and Inclusion space on campus. Incorporating user feedback, we iterated on the design to include essential symbols like bathrooms and water stations, enhancing its usability. I'm most proud of our ability to address specific user needs and create a practical solution that promotes inclusivity within our community. This project represents a commitment to accessibility and underscores Georgetown's dedication to fostering an environment where everyone can fully participate and thrive.
