나비들은 아름다운 꽃에 모여들지 (Butterflies Come to Pretty Flowers)

 This project was created as a gift to my grandmother. As always with my work, I try to incorporate in some new design or material aspect as a way to continue broadening my knowledge. For this project, I wanted to imbue more life and jiggle into the piece by wiring the components together instead of gluing. It took some trial and error with my file design to nail the structural security, ease of construction, and aesthetic, but I eventually found a way to bring all of the 2D laser cut parts—everything, pot to petals, that isn't wire—into the 3D world and produce this pretty windowsill ornament.
