Counting Minutes: The Fight to Free Kevin Herrick

We created this project as a part of the spring 2025 Making an Exoneree class, taught by Marc Howard and Marty Tankleff. In it, we tell the story of Kevin Herrick, who has been wrongfully incarcerated for nearly 36 years for a crime he did not commit. Through rigorous reinvestigation work, interviewing, and forming a close friendship with Kevin himself, we put together this documentary to share his story, speak on the injustices in his case, and show the world who Kevin truly is: a kind, genuine, and gentle person. We hope that this project will help others learn about his case and join the fight to free Kevin.
