What can you do?

ISIDORE (Idea Station with Interdisciplinary Data cOmputer for Research and Education) is a high-performance computer equipped with data analysis and visualization software, as listed below. Using ISIDORE, you can conduct data analysis of large, complex datasets more efficiently using ISIDORE's extra processing power.

Each patron is permitted two 3-hour reservations per day. Users may stay past their 3 hour allotment, but must be prepared to surrender the space in light of other reservations. Reservations must be requested at least 24-hours in advance and must be approved by a member of our staff before you can use ISIDORE.

ISIDORE is only available to users who have a valid Georgetown University login.

Each user on ISIDORE is allotted 20GB of space on the C: drive. ISIDORE is wiped periodically, so it is recommended that you SAVE ALL CONTENT TO AN EXTERNAL DEVICE (ie. USB hard drive or flash drive), Box, or your Google Drive. Save often to an external location or email to yourself. If you have larger storage needs or would like to save data on ISIDORE for a long-term project, please contact digitalscholarship@georgetown.edu with information about your project.

Please contact digitalscholarship@georgetown.edu with any questions.
